Pain Relief For Your Wrist, Hand, Arm, Leg, Ankle, And Feet
Do you have arm and leg pain?
Most people don't understand how much we use our arms and legs throughout the day. In fact, our shoulder and hip joints are two of the most mobile and frequently used joints in our bodies. This combination of frequency and mobility has led to a wide range of possible injuries and sources of pain. Our team is here to help.
We especially focus on relieving pain for plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains, and achilles tendonitis.
Biceps Tendonitis
Biceps Tendonitis is a common condition characterized by inflammation or irritation of the tendon that attaches the biceps muscle to the shoulder or elbow. This often leads to pain, particularly in the front portion of the shoulder, as well as limited range of motion of the shoulder as well.
This condition is commonly confused with Rotator Cuff issues, making it extremely important to get a proper evaluation so that you can receive proper treatment.
Wrist and Ankle Pain
Wrist and ankle pain can be due to a long list of factors including but not limited to: overuse injuries, arthritis, trauma, or ligament injuries. Being able to identify the tissue causing the problem is crucial to your recovery.
Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is a common foot condition characterized by inflammation or irritation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes, leading to heel pain and pain at the sole of the foot, especially with the first steps in the morning or after periods of rest.
Active Release Technique (ART) is particularly effective at improving this condition, especially when combined with rehabilitative exercises.
Iliotibial Band (IT Band) Syndrome
Iliotibial Band (IT band) syndrome is a painful condition that occurs when the IT band, a thick band of fascia running along the outer thigh, becomes irritated or inflamed, typically resulting in pain on the outer side of the knee during physical activity such as running or cycling.
Active Release Technique (ART), IASTM, and rehabilitative exercises are a fantastic combination in treating this condition.
Arm and Leg Pain
Due to the complexity of the joints and the vast number of possible causes, it is important that you see someone who is trained in these areas to get an accurate diagnosis. Our team will use a detailed and complete approach to figure out what is exactly causing your pain, and as a result, the best possible treatment solution for it. Typically, our office will use a combination of a thorough history, physical examination, and advanced imaging to get to the root cause of your problems. Through their education and experience our team is also able to use the location of the pain, aggravating or alleviating factors, type of pain sensation, and other symptoms such as swelling, skin changes, and bruising as other tools to assist in the diagnosis.
